The City of Millville has placed into service a new 0.75 MG elevated storage tank and a new SCADA system for the City. This new storage tank allows for more reliable pressures throughout the system as well as providing fire protection supply for the Millville Motorsports Complex. The SCADA system offers much improved reporting and control work for all of the City's water facilities. A new 1,500 GPM Well (No. 18) has been constructed for the City and has received a construction permit from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. In addition, an increase in the allowed water allocation for the City is expected in the spring of 2012.
GAI provided design, permitting and construction management services for these projects. In addition, GAI provided the necessary hydrogeologic studies needed for the Water Allocation Permit.
